MOSHE LINKE DOT COM
Moshe Linke works at the intersection of games and real-time media art, crafting highly specific, virtual worlds to escape into. The primary focus of his work includes dissecting what makes real-time media subconsciously atmospheric and how architectural principles and design philosophies are shaping this process. E.g., Brutalism, with its honest display of raw, inner materials without hiding behind a facade. Furthermore, he delves into how game engines can be used in the current landscape of interactive culture beyond video games, exploring uncharted territories outside the box we typically think in when dealing with simulations. Besides his abstract endeavors, he is also working in the realm of conventional video games on a handful of small author games and is currently employed at Hinterland, where he does environment art.
